They always have what I need and very helpful in finding it in store. And they had the hardware I needed 2 finish this little project that I couldn't find somewhere else....

I love strasser, been going here for 20+ years now. Be warned, it's an old fashioned hardware store and old fashioned retail store in fact... The employees know what they're doing, they know the tools they're selling, they know the departments they work in... I know it's crazy, you walk into the plumbing section of a hardware store in 2024 and the employee ACTUALLY KNOWS PLUMBING 🤯. I thought those days were behind us too. They're technically a true value but every other true value should model themselves after Strasser hardware store.

I would like to compliment Terry, a Strasser Hardware employee. I have been to this store in the past and never been disappointed. My needs are fewer with age, though. Today I visited Strasser in search of possible help with a Poulan electric chainsaw (old and purchased elsewhere), either from Strasser Hardware or a reference for a business or individual who could help. Terry took care of my problem, quickly and successfully, and I greatly appreciate the service.

Ethan is the MAN!! Took the time to listen and provide solutions for our corroded pipe problem! Have shopped all over town and Strasser's is the only store that has what we needed!! Thanks Ethan for seeing, understanding, and helping to solve my plumbing crisis!! I'll let you know how it turns out... And don't forget Belen!! She is so helpful and kind!!

Best nuts/bolts selection in KC. Best spray paint selection too. Some of the old-timers are a bit grouchy, but I don't go for the conversations. Oh, and they're pet friendly!

I mainly go there for their selection of nuts and bolts and other fasteners. If I have trouble finding what I need they are usually able to help.

For a hardware store this place has got you covered with a large selection of tools and everything thing else at reasonable prices so if you are doing a project around the house go look around and see what will turn your project into a masterpiece the staff is excellent and will help you through the process go check it out for yourself you will not be disappointed.

The best hardware store I have frequented in the big box style home improvement stores Strasser has kept it old school and it's comforting knowing I will be greated with customer service and not labeled when I have a hardware need...

If they don't have it, it's not a thing! Great customer service! The people that work here are at the top! Everyone is very willing to help and know the store very well!
